Queensland Raceway

Got the need for speed?  An urge to live on the edge?  Then Queensland Raceway has a high-octane experience for every age and level of thrillseeker.

Located in Ipswich, just 45 minutes west of Brisbane’s CBD, the track has become a hub for current and budding motorsport champions in Australia.

But you don’t need to be a champion to hit the same bitumen as the likes of Dick Johnson, Craig Lowndes or Scott Mclaughlin. Anyone from any walk of life is welcome to come and check it out.

Activities on offer include drifting, roll racing, karting and state and national level racing competitions.

The action happens across four different layouts – but all include flying down the famous Dick Johnson Straight.

If you’ve ever had the itch to see how fast professionals drive, the V8 Supercar experience is definitely worth trying.

Either drive alone – or take along an experienced driver and clock up speeds of up 200 plus kilometres an hour.

There’s also the option to ride shotgun as a professional stunt driver takes you through the thrilling twists and turns of the sport known as ‘drifting’.
