Head west of Brisbane and you’ll find the tiny town of Tara.
It’s usually a sleepy little town, well worth a day drive, but every two years it throws an incredible party.
Camel races are a major fixture on the Queensland Events calendar, and Tara is a great way to attend a race meet that’s still close to Brisbane.
