The Coates Hire Ipswich Supersprint is an annual, 3-day event packed with V8 racing action. It’s on at the Queensland Raceway at Willowbank.
The event sees some of the sport’s best drivers compete in one of the biggest events on the racing calendar.
Each year almost 50,000 people attend the event and there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
As well as being trackside and enjoying the racing, visitors can get up close and meet the drivers during the autograph signing sessions.
Visitors can also visit the garages and see the teams working behind the scenes.
There’s plenty of other activities to keep young and old entertained. On Merchandise Alley has a range of retailers selling V8 merchandise and there are arcade racing games, food outlets and more.
The Lego Play Zone is always popular with children. Kids can build their own race car and run it down a racetrack.
For those wanting a unbeatable view of the racing, Pterodactyl Helicopters offer chopper rides over the Ipswich circuit. Prices start at $65.
