Whitsunday weddings: Experience Airlie Beach at Coral Sea Resort

Planning an oceanfront wedding in the breathtaking Whitsundays? Coral Sea Resort is known as a one-stop shop for those looking for a special venue, reception and honeymoon at Airlie Beach.

Sharon Gregory has specialised in wedding and events planning for over 30 years and says destination weddings are common at Coral Sea Resort.

“You’re going to travel with all of your family and friends, spend three to five days on average, you can organise pre and post events,” she said. “You could even do a beautiful day trip out to Whitehaven Beach.”

Photographers can choose from stunning scenery–from the tropical gardens, the boardwalk to Shelly Beach and Abel Point Marina and of course, the sunsets from the jetty.

Gregory says about 95 per cent of the rooms have ocean views.
