Stick ‘n Rudder flying school was created by Doug Field. He fell in love with flying as a child and once flew around Australia to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Stick ‘n Rudder is in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, just west of Woodford. Doug offers a range of training courses as well as short introductory flights where guests can take the controls.
Introductory flights take in views of Lake Somerset and the Glass House Mountains.
Glass on Glasshouse also offers terrific views of the Glasshouse Mountains. It has three luxurious self-contained cottages and is the perfect weekend escape.
