Zoe Bay

Hinchinbrook Island lies a few kilometres off the coast of Lucinda, which is north of Ingham in tropical Queensland. It’s rugged and beautiful, and is an island for the adventurer at heart. Absolute North Ferry Charters regularly provides transfers to visitors to and from the island.

Zoe Bay is a must-see. It sits on the south-eastern side of Hinchinbrook. From the beach, there is access to a short 900 metre walk through beautiful rainforest where walkers are rewarded with a cool natural pool at the base of the falls, perfect for a dip. Enthusiastic hikers can also take the rope-pull and climb further up to the top of Zoe Falls, where a natural infinity-edge rock pool awaits. The views also make the steep climb worthwhile!

Rugged and remote bush camping is available within the national park. Camping permits are required and fees apply.
