Worendo Cottages & Wild Lime Cooking School

Wild Lime Cooking School is set in the heart of the Scenic Rim, about an hour and a half’s drive south of Brisbane. The Scenic Rim is known as one of Queensland’s prime food bowls, making it an ideal destination for a gourmet getaway.

Kate Raymont, owner of Tamborine Mountain’s Vintage Pickle Deli, leads the cooking classes which reflect her passion and knowledge of local produce. Guests enjoy a hands-on cooking session with plenty of tips and tricks shared along the way.

Apart from the delicious lunch that punctuates the class, Wild Lime Cooking School’s big drawcard is the view from the kitchen! It showcases a slice of rural paradise owned by Nathan and Jodie Overell who run both the cooking school and Worendo Cottages on the property.

If you’d like to extend your stay beyond the class, there’s a choice of three spacious cottages. Each comfortable hideaway features a toasty fireplace for cooler nights and is fully self-contained – so you’ll find all the creature comforts of home during your stay.
