Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival Fashion

Winter is coming!

So, get frocked up and fabulous for the Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival – with all the trackside action happening at Doomben and Eagle Farm until June 8th.

Fashion is always a fabulous element of the event – and with each race-day featuring a different theme, you’ll want to have a few winning outfits on hand.

Westfield Chermside has a field of more than 150 fashion outlets for your consideration, including high-end designers and unique accessory stores.

In 2019, the Fashions on the Field competition is sponsored by Westfield Chermside – and offers the exciting chance to win prizes valued up to $40,000. Celebrity judges this year include Jamie Durie; the team from Seven’s Sunrise; and James Stewart from Home & Away.

Damien Anthony Rossi is the Fashion Ambassador for the Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival and he has some winning fashion tips for the ‘fellas’.

“Gone are the days in Queensland when a guy can win a (Fashions on the Field) competition by tucking his shirt in and wearing shoes!” says Damien. “The bar has really been raised quite high now.”

Gentlemen’s race-day fashion tips include bold stripes; winter white, burgundy or the ever-popular navy; as well as statement socks and accessories to stand out from the crowd.

Grab your tickets to the final two days of the Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival, presented by TAB – Treasury Brisbane Ladies’ Oaks Day on Saturday 1st June and TAB Stradbroke Day the following Saturday 8th June.

Tickets are available from www.brc.com.au/carnival.
