Cirque du Soleil’s Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities is coming to Brisbane

More than 180 million people across the globe have seen a theatrical experience by the legendary Cirque du Soleil, and now you can, too. The latest show, Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities, is touring Australia and is set for lengthy stints in Sydney and Brisbane.

As we’ve come to expect from Cirque du Soleil, the show blends incredible talent, incredible costumes and an incredible storyline to create a hugely entertaining show with a generous dollop of whimsy.

The show has a 50-strong class from over 25 different nations and includes contortionists, acrobats, gymnasts, a yo-yo master, actors, clowns and musicians. Add in over 10,000 costumes and thousands of props — and you’ll see it’s a massive creative endeavour.

Cirque du Soleil’s Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities also features a couple of homegrown heroes – acronet artists Nathan and Fletcher, who both hail from the same trampoline club in Brisbane. It’s been a long and bouncy journey for the boys that has brought them to the very heights of the Cirque du Soleil Big Top.

There are a range of tickets on offer for the show, including VIP and backstage experiences. It really is a show for the whole family, so book your tickets now before they disappear.

Due to overwhelming demand, Cirque du Soleil will announce on Monday 25 the extension of KURIOS performances in Brisbane.

New performances from 9 February through the 23 February go on sale then!

Tickets are available via cirquedusoleil.com/kurios or by phone at 1800 036 685.
