Did you know that Victoria Carthew is a bookworm?

Did you know that Victoria Carthew is a bit of a bookworm? That is what makes her the perfect host of our new book club! From chick lit to detective thrillers, you will always find Vic with her nose in a book whenever she can!

I love books because…

Why I love them now is probably different than when I was younger. Now it’s because they give me time out, reading is something for me. Sometimes it’s for an education – they give you a snapshot of the times, but often it’s just to escape. Picking up your favourite author’s book is comforting…like your favourite jeans!

My favourite book is…

No way on earth I could ever choose one! I think that there are books that mark memorable times in your life. The Power Of One has always stayed with me, and Nelson Mandela’s Long Walk to Freedom. In more recent times, The Dry by Jane Harper and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.

Does Lee Carseldine Read?

How often do you read? Vic reads pretty often but Lee has a nasty habit of falling asleep… ??If you're on the hunt for your next holiday read, head to http://bit.ly/QBDBookClub

My favourite genre is…

It depends on when I am reading! I always love a Michael Connolly detective thriller to start my holiday reads. I love a courtroom drama!

I read…

I can’t put a number on how many books I read a year. It would depend on how many holidays I have because when I’m on a break, I happily knock over two books a week but in ‘real life’ a book will take me 2-3 weeks to get through.

My favourite time to read is…

In bed or on the beach… absolutely!
