Discovering Dalby

Take a drive through the towns of the Western Downs and discover great characters and rich rural heritage.

In Dalby, the Pioneer Park Museum boasts one of the state’s biggest collections of working, historical farm equipment – set in a village of historical buildings maintained by a dedicated band of volunteers. Each year, the park holds its Field Day Weekend where the public can see heritage tractors, thrashers, corn huskers, shearing equipment, steam engines – and all manner of rural contraptions – in action. Entry fees and proceeds go towards the upkeep of the village and its collection.
