From Plastic Cleanup to Corporate Change for Marine Life Conservation

Living in the Great South East we’re incredibly lucky to be so close to dozens of beautiful beaches, and be witness to the majestic marine life that live in the waters just offshore.

But we’re also one of the biggest dangers to their existence – with our use of plastics one of the biggest causes of death of mammals like dolphins and sea turtles.

We can all play our part in picking up rubbish like plastic bags and discarded fishing line – but Liz Cantor’s found major corporations like McDonald’s are also bringing about some big changes to help the marine environment.

Liz visits Seaworld to see some of these beautiful marine animals in action, and has a peek at the park’s newest precinct – The Atlantis – while she’s there.
