It’s Live in Queensland this April

Calling all party animals -here’s your heads-up for a trio of amazing festivals and events just around the corner.

City of Ipswich Planes, Trains and Autos

Start your engines for the annual City of Ipswich Planes, Trains and Autos, happening from 28th April to the 1st May.

If it rolls, roars, revs or soars – you’ll see it at this multi-venue celebration of machines that move.

Port Douglas Carnivale

Breeze on into the beautiful resort town of Port Douglas for its spectacular Carnivale, from 19th to the 21st May.

Expect long lunches, cabaret acts, live rock and roll and a street parade that puts Rio in the shade.

The Straddie Salute Triathlon

Finally, for sport lovers – possibly the world’s most picturesque Tri is taking place on beautiful Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) on Saturday 20th May.

The Straddie Salute Triathlon will see entrants swim crystal ocean waters and cycle through native bushland before bringing it home with an epic coastal run.

For the whole shebang of celebrations, festivals and events happening this year, head to It’s Live in Queensland and start making plans for a holiday in some of the state’s ‘wow’ destinations.
