Lisboa Caffé


Lisboa Caffe in Hope St at South Brisbane was created by Joao Rocha, an accountant turned gourmet tart chef. Jo and his team have wowed locals with Brisbane’s first  Portuguese tart dedicated café.

Jo describes a Portuguese tart as the ‘perfect marriage between a croissant and crème brulee’ and as well as the traditional custard tart, Jo and his team also serve a savoury range consisting of chicken and herbs and goats cheese with walnut and honey.

All the tarts are hand made using traditional recipes and customers can witness the fascinating process first hand when they visit.

The café is open 7am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday.
