If you played with toy trucks as a toddler, then Major Dirt Box is the way to relive those childhood memories with the life-size versions of dirt diggers and soil shifters.
This training centre for heavy machinery at Yatala, south of Brisbane, lets the public have a crack at driving big boys’ toys – from dump trucks to excavators and bulldozers.
Packages start at $100 per person for 40-minutes of heavy duty fun on a single machine – or you can book a multi-machine adventure.
No licence is required. However, you will need to be 11 years and older to operate the machinery. But little blue collar workers don’t miss out on the action. Kids from 5 years up can ride shotgun with an instructor in the monster dump truck.
