Philip Bacon is an Australian art dealer than created Philip Bacon Galleries in Fortitude Valley, in Brisbane. The gallery opened in 1974 and showcases the very best in Australian art from some of the country’s most famous artists.
Philip is a well-known philanthropist who supports many art organizations in Queensland. A recent is example is the Margaret Olley exhibition at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art.
Philip was recently inducted into the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame for his outstanding contribution to the arts in the state.
