Cania Gorge National Park sits around 500 kilometres northwest of Brisbane, and 200 clicks west of Bundaberg.
Cania Dam is right next door and is a great place to try your luck on a Cania Bass or Seratoga.
Visitors can base themselves a short drive from the dam at the Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat. There’s plenty of walking tracks to explore the national park that leave directly from the retreat.
They offer self-contained air conditioned cabins as well as powered and un-powered campsites. Don’t miss the daily bird feeding at 4pm.
