The Enchanted Garden

The time of year is fast approaching when Brisbane’s Roma Street Parkland undergoes a dazzling transformation in the lead-up to Christmas.

The inner-city green space will be festooned with tens of thousands of individual LED lights, lasers and holograms to create The Enchanted Garden – a dazzling display to delight young and old.

The Enchanted Garden trail is wheelchair accessible – weaving one kilometre through the parkland’s most beautiful horticultural displays… a 30 to 40-minute journey of pure wonder.

Due to popular demand, this year’s event has an extended 28-night season including additional up-late sessions at 9.15pm each evening.  There are even low-sensory sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday. The spectacle takes 6 months to plan and 2 weeks to  install by City Parklands services.

Tickets for The Enchanted Garden go on sale on Monday 13th November.  Admission is $7 for kids and $9 for 13 years and up.  Children under two get in for free! There are also family passes – $30 for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) and $36 for a family of 5 (2 adults + 2 children).

If you’re heading along to The Enchanted Garden this year, make the most of Brisbane’s balmy evenings.  Food trucks and a licensed bar will be open on the parkland’s Celebration Lawn from 5pm daily.
