It’s Live in Queensland – June

This month’s round-up for It’s Live in Queensland kicks off with the oldest culture in the world.

The Laura Quinkan Dance Festival sees dance troupes from across Cape York and the Torres Strait converge on the north Queensland town of Laura for 3 days of music, movement and storytelling.

If your digits have a touch of green about them, then get yourself along to the Queensland Garden Expo happening again in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.  Gardening legends and gurus from across Australia gather to share their tips and expertise with avid amateur horticulturalists. This year, the expo will host the Australian Floral Art Association’s National Convention.

Saddle up for the thrills and excitement of the Boulia Camel Races – held in the tiny town of Boulia, Outback Queensland. The event includes free on-site camping too.

For all the fabulous events and festivals happening across Queensland in 2023, go online to the It’s Live in Queensland events line-up.
